Florida agriculture by the numbers

SealColorSmalllHere is a reference work worthy of inclusion in your digital library: Florida Agriculture: By the Numbers from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services provides in-depth and u–to-date statistics broken down by commodity and county, making it safe to say FDACS “wrote the book” on Florida agriculture!

Hearts and flowers

heart-roses1Valentine’s Day provided an opportunity to re-post our most popular blog entry of all time, created in 2011 and well worth another look.

Guacamole is good anytime!
Our Superbowl blog entry featured some great Guacamole recipes. But guac from Florida avocados isn’t just for Superbowl, or just for weekends, for that matter. It’s good anytime you need a tasty, healthy snack!

Fun at the Fair

Our Insect Encounter displays at the Ag Hall of Fame building were, as always, popular with fairgoers.

And, of course, we couldn’t resist posting this shot of a baby goat climbing on Mama to butt heads with the neighbors.
