UPDATE for 10/3/15 :

 

Fly Count 

Daily Finds: 2  Female Oriental Fruit Flies found today in an already positive (STR), Section Township Range, 34-55-38, but a new trap site

Total count to date: 164

Date of first find: Aug. 26, 2015

Date of Last Find: Today, October 3, 2015

Estimated end date of quarantine: February 13, 2016 (provided there are no additional finds)

Did Quarantine Area Change?  No

Did Core Area Change? No

Are There Changes to the Pre-Harvest Option?  No

 

Aerial Spraying is being coordinated with Miami-Dade County:  Our team conducted aerial spray treatments last night, 10/2/15, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., covering approximately 65% of the treatment area. Aerial spray treatments will continue tonight, Saturday, Oct. 3, to complete the treatment area. The application will begin after 8:00 p.m. and conclude by 6:00 a.m.
